Carol Ann Davis, Hawaii born owner and photographer, is a highly committed professional photographer with more than twenty-five years of experience in her field. As an award winning visual artist as well as photographer her talent as a photojournalist and fine artist has taken her around the world. She is the winner of many national and local awards for her photography and painting. Her work can be seen in various national and state collections, museums and is owned by private collectors. She has a bachelors degree in communication and graphic design and a masters in communication with photography training from University of Hawaii, Brooks Institute, West Coast & Winona Schools of Photography.

Pamela Taala is the office manager. She has been at Portraits of Hawaii for ten years and has developed a passion for Photoshop and Photography. Dubbing herself as the "office maniac" she devotes her time to making sure everything runs smoothly in this fast paced environment.
